I’m an ACSM certified Personal Trainer. Prior to working at Everybody, I was a personal trainer for two years while I was a student at the College of William and Mary. While there, I trained clients from all walks of life, from complete beginners, to incredible athletes. I try to keep my workouts varied, and I utilize everything from kettlebells and barbells, to bodyweight calisthenics. I have also led several “Zero to 5k” small group training classes, where I trained participants to run/walk a 5k after building up their endurance over a period of six weeks. I built upon that program and led a 10k small group training class, where I worked with participants so that they were able to run over 6 miles by the end of the program! At Everybody, I teach the Circuit and Interval Training Class, where I lead participants through a variety of exercises designed to elevate their heartrates, and keep them elevated, through short bursts of intense work followed by shorter periods of rest. I focus mainly on Tabata style, and other interval based workouts to ensure an intense workout in a very short amount of time. Regardless of the client’s fitness goals or abilities, we can work together to create a program that maximizes enjoyment and results.
